Quran App

The Quran App is designed to work offline. Your reading progress, bookmarks, and preferences are stored locally on your device only — they are not transmitted to our servers. We do not know which surahs you read or how often you use the app.

Future apps

Prayer Times, Dhikr Counter, and other planned apps will follow the same privacy-first approach. Any data collection will be clearly disclosed in this policy before those apps launch.

5. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses minimal, essential cookies only — for example, to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

We may use a lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics tool (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) that does not use cookies or fingerprinting and does not share data with advertisers.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. We may share anonymised, aggregated data (e.g. "10,000 people used the Quran App this month") that cannot identify you individually.

We use the following service providers who may process data on our behalf:

• Cloudflare — website hosting and DDoS protection (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy)

These providers are contractually bound to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary. Contact emails and messages are deleted within 12 months of resolution. Anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot identify individuals.
